What Features Should The Next Rock Band Have?

Rock Band

Rock Band

Rock Band is a growing franshise that is made by Harmonix and published by Electronic Arts. We all know no game is completely perfect but there are more things that could be added to the game to make it seem like it is a prefect game. Rock Band already has introduced the “No Fail Safe Mode” after the first Rock Band but some other features would be nice to have.

These features include:

Vocal Trainer
Very Easy Mode
Add Any Songs To The Game

Lets start with the Vocal Trainer. For those who really aren’t that great at singing or just does not know how to hit the high notes, then a Vocal Trainer should help. We all can’t hit those high pitches but that is something we can improve on overtime. On the other hand, we can’t really improve a good or bad singing voice. Yes, some of our voices sound graceful when singing but others sounds like total…well it might just suck. At least with a Vocal Trainer you will be able to get your pitch where you need it in those songs that have high sustained notes.

Now for the easy mode. Now before I start, I should mention that Guitar Hero already has this feature which just has a line on the track chart and then you just use any note to hit it. This would help a lot if you just had some of your little brothers and sisters trying out the game. Usually it is not the guitar that is the problem, its the drums. With this very easy mode, people will find it a lot easier to play on the drums than ever before. It would certainly make your brothers and sisters happy that they accomplished a song on the drums (Which they would find very hard).

Now for the last feature that is wanted by everyone except for Harmonix and EA. That is the ability to add any song to Rock Band and then it will automatically get the drum/vocal/guitar/bass out of the song just by listening to it. Now this would be hard to make because of all the different types of songs that are out there in today’s world. Also, if there were such a feature like this, Harmonix/EA would lose money on the tracks they have in the store. But they could have it so that people have to pay a certain amount to get there track fully ready for Rock Band. $1.00 sounds like a pretty reasonable deal.
