Gametrailers Needs To Stop

It seems that Gametrailers is getting the users opinion on what game should be the best Xbox 360 game. But they added a game which gets people’s attention as to “Why?” they chose Batman: Arkham Asylum to be best “Xbox 360″ game of 2009. Since when has Batman: Arkham Asylum been an Xbox 360 exclusive? If they were looking for the best “Xbox 360″ game why did they pick this?

In my honest opinion the way that Gametrailers gets industry insiders from around the globe to give their opinion on what their best “Xbox 360″ game of the year is. I have to agree with the insiders who made this vote, it is indeed a great game. But the Xbox 360 did have a good line of exclusive games this year, but that doesn’t mean you can go and add a game that is also on the PlayStation 3. But then again, this is Gametrailers. They will go for great lengths to try and get as many views as possible.

For some reason it seems that there are quite a few sites that seem to be doing this now. But in the end, all they want is ad revenue so that they can make a quick buck by doing something wrong on purpose. Now take this how you will, because there will be people coming along saying “The 360 is elite, it gotz the better graphics”. If Gametrailers is judging it by the graphics then I would like to say they are being biased. The graphics were very similar on both consoles, there were hardly any differences. On the PlayStation 3 version you were able to play as the Joker which is a huge added bonus… because let’s face it; we all want to be the villain.

Also since we are on this topic, their comparison videos are just ridiculous sometimes. Remember a while back where they changed the X men Origins: Wolverine comparison gameplay, the PlayStation 3 footage look like crap, but then they quickly fixed it? After that, only a few people have been watching the comparison videos since most of the users over at Gametrailers know they have changed it in some way.
