Would Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 (PC) Sales Jump?

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 was released November 10th 2009. There have been a ton of reports coming in stating that the PC version didn’t sell as much copies as the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

It seems that the excuse that everyone is using is that there is no “Dedicated Servers”. This was a hard decision to be made by Infinity Ward mostly because of how much it would cost. But since they made a lot of money off the game, they should include a patch/download that has dedicated servers for the PC because peer to peer lags all the time.

Ever since Infinity Ward announced that they were not going to support dedicated servers, everyone lost it. From petitions being started, pre-orders being canceled and everything else that would effect sales.

If Infinity Ward does manage to put dedicated servers on the PC, not only would sales boost but they will hopefully get some reputation back from PC gamers.
