Killzone 2

With Bungie’s next title in the halo franchise called “Halo: Reach”, will it outsell Killzone 2 on first day sales? Killzone 2 has sold well over 2 million copies and the count still continues to rise.

Halo 3 sold 1.8 million copies within the first 8 hours of the game being released. But with Halo 3: ODST being quite a disappointment to Bungie’s loyal fans, how will that affect the sales for Halo: Reach? Some people think that Halo 3: Reach will end up being just like Halo 3:ODST, with a short campaign and no new multiplayer. Although lots of people still today complain about the controls of Killzone 2, they still end up buying it just so they can have some fun killing the helghasts. Killzone 2 offers a original storyline in the series while in Halo, the same old alien stuff that has been repeated in lots of videogames.

To be honest, Halo is a really good franchise. It has lots of potential in the series and Bungie is doing their job right. Now it is time for the consumers to decide.

There has been only a few gameplay videos of Halo: Reach and so far it seems to be the exact same graphics as Halo 3. Now we all know Killzone 2 smoked Halo 3’s graphics. You can’t really deny it since there is evidence to help back it up. But the Halo series has offered a simple line of graphics (What Team Fortress 2 Has) that keeps people playing all the time. Now that is something Killzone 2 will have a hard time trying to beat.

Only time will tell, once we get to play the actual full game of Halo: Reach, then we will fully speculate if Killzone 2 is indeed better.
