Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Leaderboards Will Have To Be Reset

The leaderboards for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, for the PS3, have been incorrect due to a new hack that was released. The question that comes to everyone’s mind; will Infinity Ward reset the leaderboards?
There have been numerous accounts appearing on the leaderboards that states that their rank is number 1. Suspicions rise to whom has actually earned their rank and who has cheated their way to the top. We here at E4G hope that Infinity ward decides to reset the leaderboards. We have contacted Infinity Ward to see if it will be reset, but we have yet to receive a reply. We will keep you updated in the next couple of weeks.

I feel that the gamers hacking should be suspended. I believe in fair gaming, I don’t really care what weapon somebody else is using as long as they aren’t cheating. The weapons are available to everyone, so I can use it just as easily. But what we have here is people taking advantage of a hack and getting to the top of the leaderboards. If anyone has checked them here recently to see what this fuss is all about, you can tell which ones have been hacking. It is _extremely_ obvious. I am not Infinity Ward and cannot speak for them, but if I were them, I would suspend the people responsible for hacking the leaderboards, reset them, and let everything fall back into place. Have that considered a warning for more serious punishment to come. It is not fair for people to be playing the game honestly and this goes for everyone, and trying to get better and naturally doing so. That is how it works. But I do know this also, there will always be problems like this, but Infinity Ward can also put their foot down too

To be honest they shouldnt reset the whole leaderboard just the top 50 or so or even jus the obvious ones because ive been playing call of duty online since call of duty 3 i am 10th prestige on 4, 10th on waw and 3rd on Mw2 and if the leaderboard get reset i will put down the controller and give up because i cant be asked 2 do it all over again and i will jus find another game, because in my opinion all cod’s are the same just different guns, levels and graphics and im on the boarderline of getting bored and reseting will jus push me over the edge…

I agree, they should only take down the ones that have hacked their way onto the leaderboard. But that would take a while for Infinity Ward to do so.

Honestly
I already play with hacks but i was good then i start getting bored of game I was like come on its call of duty waw and im getting bored of the game then i start playing with no hacks i was so bad because when you get bad reflex with the hacks because no one can kill you so i had like 3 kill streak 25 death so it take me like 4 weeks to be good as i was
To All Hackers Stop releasing hacks its your work not their work and if You are using then your a cheater not a hacker.
