iHooy! Review

iHooy
Ready to crush some Bombies? Earlier this morning we were contacted by a iPhone game developer company (Braineaters) who obviously had some interest in the site. He asked us if we would review their first ever app. Well being the awesome site that we are, we were given a copy of the game and did some extensive playing.
Let’s get down to what you all came here for. You may be asking, what in the heck is a “Bombie?” Well, pretty simple actually. Judging by the game, A “Bombie” is a shorter word for “Explosive Zombie” because in fact, they do explode. The object of the game is to crush Bombies between two giant rock walls that crush into each other, much like those machines that turn cars into small boxes. Seems simple enough right? Think again, We continue our journey through Bralasca, which really is just a tutorial island trying to get you used to the game. We come across Greenlandia; which is where the action gets fun. Not only do you have to crush two rows of Bombies to protect the wall, but you also have to open a hatch and make sure civilians are able to get into the shelter safely. Pretty simple sounding right? Wrong, this game is probably one of the best brain stretching games I have ever played for the iPhone. If you’re one who doesn’t like to think a lot and strategically, then this game isn’t for you.
Actual Gameplay of Bombie Explosion
What happens if you don’t kill the Bombies? One may ask. Well they run into a wall which defends your civilians, and after a certain amount of explosions, the wall crumbles and the Bombies are able to roam freely among the civilians. Also, one may ask what happens if you don’t allow a civilian in. Well, they keep walking right into the spikes of doom which they explode and spray blood everywhere. We all know everyone loves blood and explosions, and this game does take good strategy and timing to get anywhere. And for $0.99 whose complaining? Great game for a low price, what else could you ask for? And this isn’t just another one of those games you’re going to fly through and beat in a single night.
