Grandmaster Flash To Make Appearance On DJ Hero

Video game ‘heroism’ isn’t just for rockers anymore.

Hip-hop heads are all abuzz about Activison’s upcoming video game effort, DJ Hero, which utilizes a turntable controller instead of the guitar peripheral it uses for the Guitar Hero series.

And if that weren’t enough, the legendary Grandmaster Flash will lend his voice and persona to a digital manifestation of himself within the game’s tutorial mode. Flash has also lended two – count ‘em, two – exclusive mixes for the game.

this is on top of having Jay-Z and Eminem being involved in branded editions of the game, which is due out this October. The lucky platforms are Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and the Wii.
