We all know by now that the 360 will be getting a price cut but people who live in Asia will have to wait. According to Microsoft people in Asia have to wait till September 10th for the price drop.

There will also be new pricing for the Elite version in Hong Kong, South Korea, Singapore and Taiwan. Now the price drop is a little different from what we are getting. It is dropping about 25 percent or 300 or more dollars. We can all say that its one heck of a deal but really, its quite expensive in the eastern countries.

Now to me this is different, usually when a price drop is in effect it happens to all countries. Of course with Microsoft though you will have to wait and see for the friends in the east side of the world. Yes, i agree it was kind enough of Microsoft to give us a nice price drop but they should be reminded that there are more then just the Western population who play video games. They should really try to improve their sales in the East side.

Everyone seems to be amazed at how these major video game companies manage to give us a price drop. Not that long ago we were in a rescission and all of the sales were dropping down. Now that is what surprises me the most but really…who knows if they really did make it out. Maybe Microsoft will finally let us buy cheap hard drives to put in our 360s instead of their pricey ones. Truth be told though a price drop is nice but there are still some stuff missing that people want.

If you are like me and install games to the hard drive all the time that 120gb is going to fill up fast. They might release a 250gb drive but with people who are like me and have the who collection of the 360 library…it just won’t be enough. Now people may argue on that issue there, some of us can’t afford all of the games in the 360 library but it just would make it so much better if they allowed us. There could be reasons why that they won’t allow us and i blame piracy for it. If people were allowed to connect the 360 hard drive the computer they already can do a load of trouble from achievements etc. Microsoft seems to never win when it comes to the battle of piracy. Just look at their operating systems that have been pirated over and over again and renamed in sold in eastern countries like China and Japan (There is more but i just remember those 2). Maybe if they found a way to have it so that those things might not happen, Microsoft might have a shot at this but only time will tell.
