Armed Assault 2

Armed Assault 2

Release Dates:

PC Jul 7, 2009
Xbox360 TBA

A great first person combat simulation with lots and lots of bugs.

Design 8.6

The game (Armed assault 2) is the most realistic game I’ve ever played with its great graphics and the 225 km² map Chernarus. All the animations looks and are smooth. People, vehicles and animals are heavily detailed and looks very very real. But the thing is that the game isn’t optimized and you have gotta have a monster computer to get 20 fps on the highest settings even with the patches.

Story 9.4

In ArmA II, you’re part of an elite squad of American soldiers sent behind enemy lines to restore peace to Chernarus, a Soviet country ripped apart by civil war as warring rival factions fight to take control of the troubled state.

Gameplay 7.0

Highly realistic combat with great sound effects and music. Almost nothing is scripted. And unfortunately the AI is very retarded sometimes and you will suffer a great amount of bugs throughout the game.

Presentation 7.0

An amazing experience that will suck you in from the start. Multiplayer co-op and deathmatch. The bad things in the game are the bugs, performance issues that you will experience regardless of what PC you’ve got and to mention the very stiff voice acting. I suggest that you wait for the all the patches to fix the bugs and performance issues and then buy the game.

Demo: whats so surprisingly special about the demo is that it runs much better than the game itself.

Suggestion: get the demo first and run the benchmark and see if your computer can play arma 2 before you buy the actual game.

“ARMA 2″ is rated “M” for Mature and debuts at an MSRP of $49.99 (USD).
