Although unable to compare to the amount of Guitar Hero Games in the market, their games easily match EA Games creations. Finally, released before Guitar Hero; Van Halen, is the highly anticipated, Beatles Rock Band Edition. Truly a remarkable game for the music franchise, that is, if you’re a Beatles fan.
Beatles Rock Band emphasizes the Beatles era and gives the player the feeling of being at the show alongside some of your hero’s. Unfortunately any of your previously downloaded songs from other Rock Band games will not be compatible with Beatles Rock Band, and the games short but respectable soundtrack will leave you waiting for Harmonix release of new songs for the game. Yet, due to the lack of some popular songs and The Beatles General simplicity, will make the game easy for any music game veterans, and may be completed within hours upon purchase.
The Beatles Rock Band is visually stunning, though the background video is not to be viewed by the players, it’s more designed for observers. Spanning from the famous venues The Beatles attended, to the trippy visuals you experience in the studio. Combined with a creative and well thought introduction forming the bands famous songs starting at their beginning, and morphing into songs from Sgt. Peppers, will definitely leave you feeling, a little hungry.
Game play is generally the same as any other music genre game, which is the least fans could expect. With creative and colorful graphics, additional features unlocked through story mode, well redesigned music and of coarse, The Beatles, this is the perfect game for any music/gaming fan.
